Minister of Water and Irrigation meets Saudi Undersecretary Ministry of Water and Electricity
 

Amman, Dec.24(Petra)—Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohamad Thafer Al Alem underlined the strong relations that linked Jordan with Saudi Arabia.
Alem, during a meeting with Saudi Undersecretary of Ministry of Water and Electricity stressed Ministry’s readiness to provide its Saudi counterpart with all its capacity and capability, noting to importance of coordination and cooperation, particularly in the field of water services and sewerage.
The Minister reviewed the situation of water in Jordan and plans and programs implemented by the Ministry, particularly in the restructuring and other related issues.
The Minister noted to water strategy in Jordan, which focuses on water resources and developing the existing resources in addition to expanding of water harvest. Moreover, he reviewed projects related to water quality and reduce consumption.
