It is with great sadness that the Ministry reports the death of His Excellency Secretary General Sa'ad Al-Bakri on 24 July 2006. The regrets and condolences of the entire Ministry staff go out to his family in their time of sorrow. He will be remembered as a colleague whose direction and counsel did much to ensure the continuity and success of water-resource management and planning in the Kingdom, and he will be missed by all.
