Conservation Audits for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Customers

At a time when different sectors of society are competing for water, the Water Demand Management Unit (WDMU) is trying to ensure that it’s valuable ICI customers do not suffer. One way is to provide recommendations for technologies and new processes as a free service to large users of water to assist them to reduce their demand and consumption without affecting their clients or their production. This reduced demand will then help to reduce water bills for these customers.

At the request of the ICI customer the Water Demand Management Unit will perform a water audit on each building looking at flow rates in bathrooms and kitchens and flush rates, and also checking commercial appliances, laundries, ice machines etc…and making recommendations that will reduce total water consumption, provide a cost analysis for the building manager, and provide the economic rate of return (when the expenses for the retrofit of the building will pay off in reduced water costs). To request a water audit contact us at: 5652265 ext 1159

The audit form is available for self-audit at the bottom of this page as is a list of suppliers of WSD technologies in Jordan.

Additionally the Water Demand Management Unit will offer specialized seminars each month for engineers, building managers etc…on specific issues related to water demand in each sector. Check here to see which sector is addressed this month. Contact us if you would like to send a representative at: 5652265 ext 1159
