Mazar, Mu'ta and Aldnaniya Wastewater Projects

Background

The project is comprised of the yet to be defined wastewater treatment transmission pipelines, house connections, and new treatment plants to serve the towns and villages of Mazar, Mu’ta and Al- Adnaniya with wastewater collection, conveyance and wastewater treatment plant

Objectives

Prevention of the pollution of the aquifer and improvement of sanitation in the area where growth rates have been increasing beyond normal growth patterns due to the construction of Mu’ta University.

Project Description

The project includes a wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment plant.

Project Status

The Terms of Reference for the feasibility study have been prepared and financing has not been secured yet.

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost for these future projects is JD28.7 million.
